The Penguin Foundation is excited to announce that 'The Littlest Penguin' has been shortlisted for the 2024 Karajia & Environment Awards for Children's Literature! The co-produced Littlest Penguin book has been included in such an amazing line up, especially in this the 30th year of the awards.

Since 1994, the Wilderness Society has been recognising the talents of authors and illustrators whose creativity is inspiring the next generation, through their annual Environment Award for Children’s Literature. This is a significant celebration of the best new nature-themed children’s books and illustrator Jedda Robaard and the Penguin Foundation are very honoured to be included.

Growing a love of nature in young people is fundamental to becoming a society that values, protects and cares for Australia’s unique landscapes, oceans, plants and wildlife. And books are a fantastic way to ignite curiosity about creatures great and small.

To grab a copy head to the Penguin Parade Visitor Centre, order online direct from Penguin Books Australia or other book retailers.
